People have been asked to stop using packets of paracetamol from the boot after a packaging error.
The affected foil pack of 16 tablets within the paracetamol B inside cense was incorrectly packed as “aspirin 300 mg dispersable tablets” despite actually having 500mg of paracetamol tablets.
UK drugs and healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) requested customers to whether the batch number 241005 was below their pack.
“If affected, they should stop using the product immediately and return to the boot store for a full refund with or without receipt.”
The MHRA said that consumers should not keep the B BOX, even if the error is known, because it can be taken wrong.
Customers should warn others if the pills are brought to someone else.
Boot also posts on its official Facebook page to alert recall customers.
He added the supplier, Asper Pharmaceuticals Ltd, confirmed that the bullets in the abscess pack were paracetamol and not aspirin, and are conducting a “thorough investigation” on the issue.

“If the batch number is 241005, you should stop using the product and return to the boot store for a full refund.”
