Air Force fighter planes on Sunday stopped a civil aircraft flying in a temporary banned airspace near President Donald Trump’s Florida Home, and brought more than 20 violations since Trump took over Trump on January 20.
West Palm Beach, Fl. – Air Force fighter aircraft stopped a flying civil aircraft in a nearby temporary restricted airspace Donald Trump Florida has brought more than 20 violations since the President took over as the president on Sunday, January 20.
The North American Aerospace Defense Command said in a statement that the Sunday incident, which Trump completed a round of golf in his West Palm Beach Golf course, saw the F -16S deployment to attract the attention of the civil pilot. Jets also conducted an intercept on Saturday morning after Trump reached his private Mar-A-Lago Club and a course from his residence.
Officials said airspace infiltration in a heavy crowded southern Florida airspace has encouraged fighter jet intercepts, but did not change Trump’s schedule or affected its security, officials said. Norad says the flames may appear from the ground but they burn quickly and pose a risk.
Federal officials maintain a permanent flight ban on Trump’s club that extends to a radius of 30 nautical miles when the presidential residence is in the presidential residence.
Violations, and interruptions are relatively regular, but alarms have been raising alarms on the frequency of Norad infiltration since Trump’s inauguration, saying that it has responded to more than 20 events and blamed civil pilots, so that they need to investigate air sector restrictions before taking off.
“It is necessary to comply with the TFR action to ensure flight safety, national security and presidential security,” said Norad and US Northern Command Commander General Gregory Gillot, “Aircraft to guide the offensive aircraft outside TFR.”
