A 42 -year -old woman has been accused of murdering her two -year -old daughter, who died after receiving a response to the lake.
Annabel Me Key Key, two, went missing from her home in Kingsley, Hampshire on September 10, 2023.
The young man did not respond to Kingsley Lake shortly after.
She was taken to a hospital in critical condition, but died the next afternoon.
Gibbs Lane, Oxhenger’s Alice Me Key Key has been accused of murder.
On Wednesday, Key Key was kept in custody to appear in the Basingstock magistrate’s court.
In a statement, Annabel’s father paid tribute to his daughter, describing her as “beautiful, positive and very happy little girl”.

He said: “She had a very pure and caring nature that we miss very much. She likes the time of the story, the dogs and her do olly Lee.
“She enjoyed singing songs and nursery pairing and had very sweet teeth.
“Annabel loved to laugh, she brought a lot of happiness to our lives. She loved her by her family and friends.
“The world needs more people like Annabel to spread positivity and kindness.
“Annabel, I love you so much, you are a shining star and you will be loved forever.”
