Cairo:
The Arab leaders on Tuesday confirmed the plan to re -build the Gaza bar under the future administration of the Palestinian Authority, in which US President Donald Trump introduced the option of a widely condemned proposal to occupy the area and displace its people.
The probability of the Palestinian Authority (PA) ruled by Gaza is definitely, however, Israel rejected a future role for the body, and Trump closed the Palestine Liberation Organization Liberation in Washington Shington while supporting Israel.
Shortly after returning to power in January, Trump created a global outrage by “handling” the Gaza bar and turning it into “Riviera of the Middle East”, while its Palestinian residents were forced to move to Egypt or Jordan.
One day after Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu supported Trump’s proposal, he was supposed to give that vision at the Arab League summit in Cairo on Tuesday.
In the final conversation, the summit announced the adoption of a “comprehensive Arab plan”, requesting the international community to support it.
It states that “all these efforts are moving in parallel with the onset of political track” to the Palestinian state, which is opposed by Israeli leaders.
The statement also welcomed the “Palestinian decision to form a Gaza Administrative Committee under the umbrella of the Palestinian government.”
It announced the establishment of a trust fund to pay for the regeneration of the region, and said that it would “receive financial promises from all donor countries and credit institutions to do projects.
The summit also is asked to integrate Palestine’s presentation under the Palestine Liberation Organization, an umbrella group, which is a dominant political force in the Palestinian Authority and that excludes Hamas.
Hamas, who started the war in Gaza with his October Chatber, 2023 attack on Israel, said that the plan of the summit and the proposed composition of the temporary committee was welcomed to monitor relief efforts, reconstruction and regime.
It was unclear, however, how Hamas would be ready to leave Gaza’s control. Israel, meanwhile, has said that he will not accept Hamas to hold any hands in the future rule of the region.
– ‘Permanent Solution’ –
In his opening comment on Tuesday, Egyptian President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi said his country’s plans would “be on their land” to Palestino, but took care not to criticize Trump.
Calling for “a serious and effective political process that leads to a justified and permanent settlement for the Palestinian purposes” he added: “I am confident that President Trump is able to do it.”
Palestine, Arab states and many European governments in the U.S. Trump’s proposal for Gaza’s control is denied, opposing any efforts to expel his people.
Trump has recently appeared to soften his attitude, saying that he is not “pushing” the plan, which experts may violate international law.
The final conversation of the summit warned against the “sinful efforts to displace the Palestinians”, and said that they would “enter the area into a new phase of dispute.”
For Palestine people, any compulsory displacement “nakba”, or stimulates the memories of disaster – mass displacement in the war led to the formation of Israel in 1948.
The CC said on Tuesday that the purpose of the new management committee made of Palestinian technocrats was to “pave the way for the Palestinian Authority to return to the belt.”
Addressing the summit, P TE Palestinian leader Mahmood Abbas also said that a working committee was constituted to prepare for PA Gaza to resume its role.
PA had earlier ruled Gaza before losing power against Islamist Hamas in 2007.
UN chief Antonio Guterres, who was also in Cairo, on Tuesday gave his strong support to the re -making initiative, and added that the world body was ready for “full cooperation”.
Some Arab chiefs of the state participated, though Day Facto Saudi ruler Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman was absent, instead sent his top diplomat.
Unless the largest economy in the Middle East, Saudi Arabia will be required for any regional reconstruction efforts.
– War ceasefire –
Hamas’s 7 October Katber attack on Israel killed 1,218 people, most of which were citizens, while Israel’s army in Gaza has killed at least 48,405 people in turn, mostly the data of both the citizens.
The war in Gaza has left this area mostly ruins and has created a terrible humanitarian crisis.
Since January, the rush of humanitarian assistance was seen in Gaza, on Sunday, Israel announced that Hamas was blocking delivery until Hamas accepted its conditions to raise the conflict.
The first phase of the deal ended over the weekend, after a six -week relative quiet, which includes the exchange of Israeli hostages for Palestinian prisoners.
While Israel has said that it wants to increase the first phase by mid -April, Hamas has insisted on transition to the second phase of the deal, which will bring the permanent end of the war.
Hours before opening the summit on Tuesday, Israel’s top diplomat Gideon Saree said that he demanded the removal of “Gaza’s total demilaterization” and Hamas to proceed to the second phase of the seizure deal.
Hamas leader Sami Abu Zuhari told the AFP: “Weapons of resistance are a red line for Hamas and all resistance groups.”
