Portland, Or. – The newly arrived David Da Costa set the first goal for Portland in the 79th minute, James Pentemis saved four, and on Saturday night the wood rally to beat Aust Stein FC 1-0.
Da Costa got a net In its first start and second appearance in the league. Pentemis started in two seasons with its sixth clean sheet with more than 15 Timber (1-1-0). In 2021-22, he had seven shutout with CF Montreal in the beginning.

AUST Stein, who won 1-0 against Sporting Kansas City in his house-opening, was trying to become the sixth team of history to get the least points in three direct trips to Portland. The club scored 2-2 draws in 2023 and won 1-0 last season.
AUST Stein will host Colorado rapids on Saturday. Timbers Nashville on Saturday traveled to play SC.
