Al Segundo, Califo. – Los Angeles Kings have apologized for selling scarves in Turkey during the night of Armenian Heritage last month.
“We, on the ranks of La Kings and our partners Several Rally wants to apologize to all our friends of the Armenian community and for the oversight of it who inadvertently affected your experience during the joyful celebration, “the kings said in a statement released on Saturday. “We officially sell, stock and sell from the League list of licensed manufacturers, and we were unaware of the product’s product origin.”
The Los Angeles is the largest Armenian community outside Armenia in the area. The neighboring Armenia and Turkey Historic are the enemies that arise from the deaths of approximately 1.5 million Armenians in the massacre, the deportation and pressurized March that began in Ottoman Turkey in 1915. Historians view this phenomenon as a genocide. Turkey has strongly rejected the label.
Kings team is offering full refunds or exchanges for anyone or by mail to buy a scarf at the LA store.
The Armenian Heritage Night was February 22 and is an annual event.
