Cavitfjel, Norway – Dominic Paris stopped Podium’s Swiss Sweep by winning the Men’s World Cup downhill race on Friday, but the Italian P TE Marco Audermat could not stop closing at another overall title.
After Paris speeded up the Olympic OPE in 1 minute, 44.67 seconds, claimed its record-wealth fourth World Cup win in Kavitfjel, defeating the ordermate 0.32 seconds and Stefan Rojantin by 0.63.
The end of Orderarmat’s second place, but seals another overall title for the 27 -year -old Swiss star. The three-time rescue champion’s 80 race points placed it 4040 than Henreek Christopherson, which is not a downhill or super-G race, and 655 clear from Swiss team fellow Lock Mailard.
Swiss Skiers Franjo Von Allman and Alexis Monny were fourth and fifth respectively.
The 35-year-old Paris also won the World Cup downhill race in Kavitfjel in 2016, 2019 and 2022, and Friday’s win was 19 in the joint-second in the list of all-time downhill winners with Switzer. Only Rian Strian Skier Franz Clamer won more (25).
