Barcelona goalkeeper Marc-Andre has Stegen, defended his wife of ‘fake news’ after Spanish reports claimed that he had moved after she cheated on him.
Ter Stegen and Daniela Jehle announced their separation after almost eight years of marriage last week.
The couple, who started dating in 2012 and married five years later, confirmed the division into a social media post.
Spanish journalist Juliana Canet claimed in Radio Catalonia That Ter Stegen and Jehle have lived separated for two months.
She stated that Ter Stegen was living at the Grand Hyatt five -star hotel in Barcelona, chose to move after he allegedly discovered that Jehle cheated on him.
Canet stated that having Stegen had used reforms being performed at the mansion the couple had bought last summer to explain why he was living in the hotel.

Ter Stegen has now reached the reports, accusing the radio station for the fake news broadcast and denied the claim that his wife cheated on him.
“I am shocked and disappointed with mismanagement and the lack of leadership and control at Catalunya Ràdo & Group 3Cat, which spread fake news and violated personal rights,” Ter Stegen wrote.
‘There was no unfaithfulness on Daniela. There are no third parties involved. This is a fact.
‘As it was communicated, Daniela and I decided to follow separate paths under good circumstances, maintaining communication based on trust. It is completely unacceptable that the public media led by the government spreads this, falsely accusing Daniela and attacking it in person. The damage is irreparable.
Ter Stegen and Jehle confirmed their division into a social media post last week, stating that the decision came after ‘careful consideration’.
“After a careful consideration, Dani and I decided to follow separate paths,” said the joint statement.
‘This decision was not easy, as you can imagine, but we both believe it is the best step for us.
“Our joint focus is on doing the best for our children, ensuring that they continue to have a loving and stable environment.

Daniela Jehle had been a vocal defender of having Stegen throughout her career in Barcelona
“We are still committed to working together as parents and treating each other with respect and appreciation as usual.
“During this personal period, we kindly ask for your understanding and respect our privacy – especially that of our children.”
Jehle continued to have Stegen to Barcelona when she joined the club in 2014 in a change of £ 9.7 million.
The couple married on May 15, 2017 with a small ceremony near Barcelona, before having a marriage in the church in Tuscany.
Ter Stegen and Jehle have two children together.
Ter Stegen is currently recovering from a knee injury he suffered in a match against Villareal in September.
The 32 -year -old boy suffered a complete rupture of the patellar tendon in his right knee.
Having Stegen recently expressed hope that he could return to First Team Action at the end of this season.
