Mohamed Salah seemed to be sure that Liverpool was not breaking the rules when a little known replacement rule came into play during the victory over Southampton.
The Reds launched 3-1 winners about the highlighted saints of relegation on Saturday, with Salah bagging two of the place to help guide Liverpool to a return victory.

Apparently this change in the rules book was without Salah’s knowledge, which seemed to be desperate not to allow his side to do what he considered to be an expensive mistake.
Only after referee Lewis Smith explained that no irregularity was being made, Salah allowed the late change, who saw Jarell Quansah to Trent Alexander-Arnold on 89 minutes.
