- Listen now: It’s all starting! Is Alisson the best goalkeeper of the Premier League?
Wolves manager Vitor Pereira wants more of the new hiring of Marshall Munetsi, who was replaced five minutes after scoring his first goal for the club.
Munetsi’s energy was rewarded with a 40 -minute strike that canceled Jack Harrison’s opening game for Everton, but he did not reappear for the second half.
Manager and player offered different motives. Pereira stated that Munetsi felt something of an old injury, but the 28-year-old Zimbabwe said, ‘No, no, it was just a tactical question and I felt uncomfortable, so we decided to change it.’
Pereira was happier with Wolves’s second half performance and, in praises Munetsi’s work rate, wants it to be better channeled.
“He fights for each ball,” said the manager. ‘He argues, appears in the box to score, tries to press everywhere.
‘Sometimes we need to control it a little! We need balance of the way we attack and defend and how we press.

Wolves manager Vitor Pereira said after the game he wants more from the new signature
The wolves showed that they are capable without Matheus Cunha, fulfilling a ban on three matches for a red card in Bournemouth and possibly more with an inadequate pending conduct load.
Munetsi, signed from Reims for 16 million pounds, agrees that he will need a group effort to compensate for the missing Brazilian.
“It’s something we have to work as a collective,” he said. ‘Matheus will be proud of the guys when we get points.
‘I think we have all the quality on the field. Everyone has to enter.
