Google has announced that Screen C Screen Widgets are coming to Android 16 phones this year. Widgets have been available on the Pixel Tablet’s Screen C screen for last year, but Google is now bringing them to phone and more tablets.
All widgets will support the L Screen C screen as a default, although the application will be the option of disabling support if they choose. Some widget actions – such as triggering the application – you will need to certify it before the fingerprint, pin or face unalwal lock is operated.
The next change was announced Android developers blogWhere the company confirmed that the Screen C screen widgets will be added to the Android Open Source Project (AOSP) in the first quarter update after the release of Android 16 in late summer. Android 16 itself is still in Beta, and is Due to free in June.
While the Screen C Screen Widgets for the Phone are not yet capable of the latest Android 16 beta, Android powerMishal succeeded in activating Rahman efficiency soon. He discovered that when pixel tablet users can expose the Screen A screen widget by swiping from the home screen, the current implementation for phones is only available by Screensaver mode of Android, which requires charging or docking the phone. However, in its blog post, Google notes that the method of triggering the widget interface can be customized by hardware manufacturers, so once the update arrives, we can see different approaches.
Another difference from the implementation of the pixel tablet comes to the screen size. Instead of a two-row grid of widgets, Widgets Vert in Rahman’s video shows the St Ak Cudd, just there is space for a couple on the screen together, so you have to swipe them all through screens.
