It has been more than two years since Elon Musk officially handled Twitter – X -owner, and when so many platforms rushed to try and to be the next big microblogging service, many did not survive. Threads, Mastoden and Blukesky have proven to be viable alternatives to all, but like places like Pebbles (previously T2) And post news doesn’t make it.
There is still no clear successor on Twitter. X does not become a huge “everything app” that Kasturi says he wants. But despite the success of the threads, the continuous existence of mastoden and the growth of blusky, X is still a place where many people and companies post things before going anywhere else – at least, for now.
