Samsung has adopted some mind-banding (and literal turns) gadget concepts-which include a stracable screen and foldable games console.
The display section of the South Korean Tech Giant is showing its “magical” screens Future In a special program this week.
It contains a small 18.1-inch tally that folds into a briefcase.
And there is also a gaming device – which looks like a Nintendo switch – which can fold in half to fit in your pocket.
Future gadgets were announced at the Mobile World Congress Tech Show in Barcelona.
Most gadgets are made of special OLED displays, but they are just concepts for now.
A demo gadget was called an oled tile, which means to make the TV effect – but without a wide border or “bezel”.
It works using ten 6.8-inch OLED panels that contain a bezel that is only 0.6 mm, so it rarely appears.
These tiles can then be stuck together to create the illusion of a large screen.
“Old tile display exhibits full-screen technology. When all panels are released, the tile’s over-thin bezel makes the appearance of a single display.
Samsung also showed a clever gadget called Flex Gaming.
It is described as a “concept gaming console” with a 7.2-inch foldable OLED.
Samsung has been making foldable smartphones for years now – and the console looks very similar.
The idea is that you may have a big screen for gaming, but it will fold and remove the device.
Samsung also showed a “stracable” screen that was surrounded by glass on the show.
The gadget maker has earlier boasted that his pulling screen can be pulled up to 125% of its original size.
That means you just get the extra quarter of the display by pulling it on.
And Samsung’s stretchy screens can squeeze into 120 pixels of an inch display.
The show also had a fantastic TV-in-briefcase, hand for air Passengers.
It is called a flexible cabinbag, and it looks like a briefcase from the outside.
But inside, Samsung is full of 18.1-inch foldable OLED displays.
Samsung explains, “This device can be converted into a form like bags with grips for easy carrying.”
“When appearing, it servers as an 18.1-inch tablet, equivalent to the size of two standard tablets.
“And can be folded in a compact briefcase for convenience.”
What is OLED screen?
OLED screens are all rage in the tech industry – and more and more popular for smartphones and TVs.
Usually screens use LED-backlight LCD designs, which means highlighting a wide backlight Crystals It makes your screen.
This allows you to see an image when you look at the display.
But OLED screens contain pixels that highlight themselves, without the need for a large backlight.
